    About Scott Hoffman and The Hoffman Realty Group at Keller Williams Preferred Realty


    I attended Chapel Grove Elementary School, Southwest Junior High School and I graduated Hunter Huss High School in 1990. 

    I attended Appalachian State University in Boone North Carolina and I am a proud member of the class of 1995.

    I earned a degree in Business Administration with a double major in Risk Management and Insurance as well as Real Estate and Urban Analysis. I was an active member of the Appalachian State University Marching Band and a Board Member and an active member of The North Carolina Student Legislature.

    Professional Experience:

    I worked at PennCorp Financial from 1995-1996 in the New Business Department.

    I earned my Real Estate Salesman’s License in 1995.

    I joined Howard Perry and Walston Better Homes and Gardens in 1996. Later I went on to work with their number one producer Phyllis Wolborsky as an independent agent in her own firm from 1997-2001 which was an opportunity of a lifetime.

    From 2001-2012 I worked as one of the top producing teams for Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston until I joined Keller Williams Preferred Realty in 2012 and later formed The Hoffman Realty Group which focuses on providing exceptional service  to all of our Forever Clients.

    In my career it has been my pleasure and honor to help hundreds of families buy and sell their homes.  I have closed over 971 sales in my 23 year career and served over 1,942 families.  Many of my clients are referrals from family members or friends of another client.  One of my most distinct honors has been serving as many of three generations of several families. Additionally I was responsible for the management of 5 new construction communities representing some great local custom builders.

    Over 80% of our business is “By Referral Only”.  This commitment means that I will rely on references from my clients.  Consequently, I work even harder to gain my client’s trust.  If I do a great job for my client, they will use me again and refer others with confidence, knowing that their friends and loved ones are getting the best service and counsel.

    Professional Designations:

    In order to distinguish myself from my peers I have worked very hard and invested a great deal time in continuing education far exceeding what is required by the state. I currently hold the following designations recognized by the National Association of Realtors.

    Accredited Buyer Representative:  The ABR designation is for those agents who represent buyers.  Classes focus on agency, relocation, services and issues related specifically for buyers. This information has been very helpful in building my relocation practice and improving the services we offer to buyers.  It has also been helpful representing sellers because I have enhanced my negotiation skills and have the insight to protect my clients. 

    e-PRO: Earning my e-PRO® certification allows me to go the extra mile to provide the most up-to-date and sophisticated service, and truly create Win Wins for our clients. Applying advanced technologies and social media strategies to my business plan expands my capabilities, increases my reach, and builds trust with our forever clients. 

    These designations are only a part of my continuing education.  Each year I attend sales and marketing seminars across the country to expand my body of knowledge and to build my network of like- minded agents.  I am committed to continuing to improve my skills and build my practice.

    Keller Williams International Red Day-RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is our annual day of service.     Keller Williams Cares-KW Cares is a 501(c)(3) public charity created to support Keller Williams associates and their families with hardship as a result of a sudden emergency. The charity is the heart of Keller Williams culture in action – finding and serving the higher purpose of business through charitable giving in the market centers and communities where Keller Williams associates live and work.

    Triangle Spokes Group-Started by two great friends of mine Triangle Spokes Group is a nonprofit organization that distributes new bicycles and helmets to less fortunate families during the holiday season.  100% of all donations go to the bikes and kids! They partner with the Salvation Army of Wake County to distribute the bicycles in time for the holiday season.

Christina has a vast amount of experience in the industry having served in the following key roles in local businesses over the years: listing director for a major franchise, closing coordinator for a large real estate team, loan processor and a paralegal for a major real estate law practice in the area. Christina is the back bone of what we do guiding our sellers and buyers painlessly from contract to close as well as many marketing functions for our team.     Hi...I'm taking a break from unloading the boxes and thought to send this to you: "It was 18 years ago that Scott helped my wife and I buy our first house in Wake Forest. I made three house hunting trips from upstate NY and over the course of six weeks looked at over 50 houses. Scott dialed in to my selection criteria, which included not being able to look into the neighbors kitchen or them being able to look into ours. Scott diligently showed house after house and never showed any sign of tiring from the number of houses he had to show before making our selection. The truth of the matter is there were at least a dozen houses that we just never went in because he knew the resale market well enough to know that we would not recover the input value when we sold. Since that first purchase 18 years ago, Scott and his 'crew' helped us buy and sell several investment properties as well as an upgrade to the first home. Over these past 18 years the number of options to complete a property sale has increased but I have never thought of using anyone but Scott. Scott does the research to determine the maximum that the market can bear for the sale price and the sale is completed at or near the asking price.
